Week of September 8-Assignment

As a class we will be completing:

  • Exercise 1 on Page 33
  • Exercise 2 on page 35

On Your own complete:

  • Reviewing Key Points on page 44. Answer the questions with the correct letter and name in a word document with a correct footer. Print for a grade and place in the correct bin.
  • Assessment 1, page 44-Do not print presentation make sure you save it in your portfolio.
  • Assessment 4, page 46; situations 1 & 2 to be saved in your portfolio.

Be prepared to tell the class the definition of your assigned vocabulary as well as preparing a document that is an example of assigned vocabulary and another example that does not show the meaning of the vocabulary word.

August 28 Assignment

Go to http://www.wordle.net/ and use the vocabulary at the beginning of the chapter to make a wordle. Make sure it uses the concepts of desktop publishing including: asymmetrical and symmetrical balance, as well as using white space to make the document eye pleasing. Please respond to this post and let me know what you thought of this activity. Also go to bighugelabs.com and make a magizine cover of your choice.
