August 28 Assignment

Go to http://www.wordle.net/ and use the vocabulary at the beginning of the chapter to make a wordle. Make sure it uses the concepts of desktop publishing including: asymmetrical and symmetrical balance, as well as using white space to make the document eye pleasing. Please respond to this post and let me know what you thought of this activity. Also go to bighugelabs.com and make a magizine cover of your choice.

I liked the website. Trying a new idea with vocab is always fun. Writing them all the time gets boring. I can't wait to see what more exiting things we will do this year.

I thought it was very interesting how it took the vocabulary words and put it in different positions on the page. John (Jack) Wilkins
